  Needed a new gas dryer and since we are only renting and have an electric set, we didn’t want to pay much or get the highest end model. We were told by the sales person that Lowe’s didn’t have anyone to hook up our dryer and to contact an outside company or the utility company to do it. The utility company wouldn’t so we ended up paying $175 to get it hooked up properly.
  Well, the dryer didn’t work.
  Went back to get another one and asked if they would take care of the second hook up cost and were quickly told no, that Lowe’s wouldn’t do that. We were then told that Lowe’s barely made anything on our sale because it was a discounted dryer and that is the reason. I guess Lowes is more worried about the bottom line then service.
  Very disappointed. I loved walking into Lowe’s. On the up side, the staff tried to be helpful. No one was rude. Their hands were tied. This is more a bad experience with the company and not the staff.
